I planned on being a teacher,a doctor,a pilot, an engineer designing fancy cars, a business woman and also a part of the X-Men team.Making a plan is the first step towards any problem but executing the plan is a real task. It’s said half the problem is solved if you have a good plan, I don’t agree with this line at all.Nobody tells you the real problem starts only after the plan is formulated and actually it really doesn’t matter if you have a plan or no because Universe has its own plans for you and it doesn’t care about your plans.Universe is like that friend of ours who loves to ruin every plan we make at the very last minute. While growing up don’t we all have a new plan every month?Making a plan and daydreaming about it was the only job we had and somehow those plans looked achievable. Funnily when we finally have grown up living in all those plans, we realize we don’t have one any more, such is life!
“Everyone has a plan ’till they get punched in the mouth.” -Mike Tyson
Oh! I had a plan too everything jotted down in my secret diary. When I was young I wanted to be a pilot but the industry had a downfall so I changed my plan and instead thought of being a Psychologist, but ended up with Economics Honors. I took up a job and started studying for MBA entrances after all that was the new plan, little did I know I’ll fall sick and miss all my exams. I felt lost in life for the first time as I didn’t have a plan any more. At this point I wondered if do we have a plan at all ever or are we part of a bigger plan that the Heavens have for us? In the meanwhile I attained Bachelors of Education degree a field I had never thought of pursuing but then it just happened. We definitely make our plans set our goals and start aiming for it but sometimes situations go so awfully wrong leading us in another direction and we curse our luck. But have you ever wondered what seems bad at the moment may actually be good in the long run. You have dreams and you want to achieve them but think at what cost?If you gain less and lose more, think twice if sticking to the plan is worth it?
“Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.” -Khalil Gibran
My father said, “Don’t you worry, don’t you worry, child. See heaven’s got a plan for you. Don’t you worry, don’t you worry now.” Yeah!
Make plans, let them fail, make mistakes, gain experience, more importantly live your life and don’t worry cause there already is a PLAN for you!
